Previous post I agree with concerning Meta. Played sparingly last year so this is his freshman year. He is making small but gradual improvement in his game. Becoming more of a presence inside. Expect for him to block shots for his size, but that was awesome seeing him block that perimeter shot. Hope he keeps improving as the season goes on and by seasons end maybe be a force inside. As my old coach used to say for a player of his size you need him to be a glass eater. Meaning grab a big share of rebounds. Hope he continues his gradual improvement. :lol:
 
Any 7-footer at a mid major is going to be a project, those who can immediately be an impact to go to the power conferences.

The good thing about Meta is that you can teach a player a lot of things, but you can't teach height. He seems to be catching on to the game now.
 
Listening to Chad Klein after the game he said Meta works very hard at getting better. Very good work ethic, extra time working on his game.
