Great game. Just got back to the hotel. We sat right behind the Will Franklin family and the Tauai family (there were a lot of them). Will's dad was justifiably proud of Will. What a gamer!

I hope we've seen the last of the "Why Tauai" stuff. Without JJ, we lose that game. And not just his scoring, JJ played about the best defensive game I've seen him play. Another total team effort with no weak links

The only problem could be a little fatigue. The guys were tired at the end of that game. I hope they get plenty of rest!

Well.

DC, super jealous of you and all the other BradleyFan-ers who were at the game. I hope we get to see that Will shot over and over ...

I was planning on heading down to St. Louis tonight, but it's kinda blizzarding in Peoria right now.

Nice game by JJ today....and DA only shoots 2 3's and drains them both...........hopefully the Bigs will bounce back for the siu game!

According to realtimepri.com, Bradley's RPI has moved up to 40. Palm (collegerpi.com) had them at 44 before today's game.

what an intense game!!! i lost my voice and was going ballistic on the court... if we get more offensive production from ZA and MS tomorrow will be even more crazy. i was impressed with the number of fans we had and i know a ton more that are coming tomorrow

More offensive production? They were held SCORLESS! I didn't even realize this. It's amazing that we can win a game when we get 0% of our scoring from the forntcourt. I'll be screaming my head off tomorrow, GO BU!!

And nobody for Bradley had more than 3 rebounds! Hard to believe that, too

Well DC, I'm used to us getting healthily out rebounded...

OK, wasn't sure where to post this:

What's the weather and traffic like in St. Lou? I'm driving down in the morning and want to allow plenty of time.

Also, any news on player sendoffs, pregame parties, etc?

The weather in St. Louis is great. It's clear, and the sun was out all day. It was cool, around 50, but that's better than Peoria. It's predicted to be a little cooler tomorrow, mid to high 40's, but no rain is predicted. There is a stron wind, and I would caution you that there are gusts that could affect the drive down. But the weather should not be a problem other wise.

There is a pregame party just announced. See the separate thread.

Its a blizzard up here in Chicago  I could barely cross Wacker

Incredible finish by the Braves today. Tauai really stepped up when it mattered, and Adams hit a couple of big threes to help BU maintain their lead. Crouch had a quiet but solid day, and Ruffin was rendered ineffective thanks to foul trouble (the charging call for his third foul was bogus, the 4th foul on the double-T with McKowen I could live with if the ref wants to keep things from getting out of hand, and that second foul at midcourt against Ahehbegle(sp.) looked like an OK call in real time on TV but in slow motion replay it was totally missed by the ref). Andrews and Salley scored zilch and we still won the game! Will's game winning shot was truly shocking considering he had some great looks in the second half and clanked just about every one of them! Had Bradley lost, Franklin's poor second half shooting would have been one of the keys, just like Ruffin's missed layup to end the first half and Crouch's foul of Josten on a made 3-point shot! Thankfully, no finger pointing allowed--just a sigh of relief and belief that we can play with SIU Saturday and help our cause for an at-large berth to the NCAA Tourney. I'm still in the camp that says we have to win the MVC Tourney rather than just make the title game. There are so many bubble teams that have meaningful games coming up next week--why take a chance on a nerve racking week like that when you can take care of business yourself, eh? Charge On, Charge On Bradley....
