Postgame- BU 56 ISU 52

I didn't get to see the game (consequence of living 1000 miles away). There were a lot of 3's chucked by both teams tonight and whomever chose the "under" did well. BU got away from the 3-chucking the last 3 games, wonder why they went back to it. (got 21 points on 21 shots)

How in the world did BU only end up with 1 team foul in the first half?
 
YES!!! We showed a lot of heart, amazing defense on both sides and it made our offense look bad at times in the second half but we simply wouldn't let them back in it. What a great atmosphere. Some big plays by everyone down the stretch. Awesome.

ISU was in 2-3 zone for a big part of the game. So, at times, we were forced to shoot the 3. I think we only had one foul in the 1st half because ISU was chucking the 3s up and not trying to drive or pass it inside.

They went back to shooting 3s because they couldn't get past ISU's defense.

Props to Collins! Quite possibly the best game of his career. For once he did not look lost; he looked like he belonged out there, especially on D!

I heard that too. Perhaps they need to get the two bunkbeds. I also liked how Les said someone put Go irds on his car while in Bloomington this week and he kept it on all week!
 
I thought the reffs did a fantastic job! I thought a few calls went the wrong way but nothing compared to the last few. They really let them play and even thought this was a low scoring game it had a flow to it.

Also the bubraves.tv video feed was fantastic for once.

Heard Coach tell Theron he needed to get David going and boy did he. Our two bigs were outstanding and what a job by everyone. Our Freshmen are already special and with what we have coming in and coming back its going to be special for a while. Go Braves
 
Nicw Win.....Chris Roberts is coming to play.....very fun game...what was the attendance ....I thought I heard Dave Snell say 11,592....is that a record? Also thanks to the refs for letting the teams play! :D

Let's be honest here. We were better than ISU 2 years ago and have gotten better recruits than them the last two years. We were bigger and more athletic than them and it really showed.

Does anyone really doubt that BU has the better team? :o
 
Outstanding win! First and foremost, great defense and hustle. The offense was also very good and most importantly patient and poised. We never looked rushed or nervous despite our inexperience, even when ISU made it close. Props to DC for stepping it up, and how about Taylor Brown giving us a lift with some big minutes in the first half!

The only thing that kept tonight from breaking the all-time attendance record was the Fire Marshall. There were a number of people who were turned away from the ticket office after the maximum number of standing-room-only tickets were sold.
