Postgame thread and stats- BU 71 MSU 60

SS seems to have hit a wall recently; I hope he gets back to his early-valley season form.
I mentioned this in another thread, but this is a huge concern of mine. I'm wondering if the minutes are starting to take their toll, and I wish AT would have gotten just a few minutes per game so that mhe might be able to give us something serviceable in the tourney. As it stands, I don't know if DC and a worn-down SS can get us three wins in three days in STL.
If Chris Roberts plays well Bradley is a lot better. He is just so up and down. Also, I've been on the Taylor Brown bandwagon all year. I'm not sure why he doesn't see more time. Things happen when he plays.
Agreed on both counts.

I'm certainly happy about the win, but I was hoping this game wouldn't have been so close so guys like Norris and Brown could have gotten some extended minutes. I'm not too thrilled that Wilson and Maniscalco had to play 34 & 35 minutes each (I understand why they did). I was happy that Roberts got 23 minutes.

BB I'm agreeing with you again on why did we mot see TB in the 2nd 1/2? He did shoot that 3 air ball but he was hot and he seems to be a streaky shooter so why not? I also think that when TB hits that mid-range baseline jumper he'll be playing extended number of minutes. He adds a lot of energy but realistically speaking his productivity comes down the longer he is out there.

On another note DC plays a great game at home and we know on the road he'll lay an egg. What I want to know what will he do in a neutral court? We need ~30 minutes a game from him if we are going to do any real damage in St. Louis.

Pfunk - I agree in your assessment of SS play. From where I sat last night, he was not very effective and has seemed to regressed in his play, especially offensively. I think if he is not playing well in his first rotation, TB should get his second half minutes.

I thought DC played pretty good. He showed a little more aggressiveness, which in turn produced good results. If we could get a consistent 8-10 points and 5-7 rebounds from him from here on out, we might be able to do something.

It seems like we say that after every home game...

Not trying to hate on the guy, just a statement of fact.

What was amazing also was the zero fouls in the first half. With 10 minutes left in the game, I think he had 1 foul. I was waiting for him to go over the back on like every rebound and going strong to the basket on every posession when playing without fouls... But, I'll take the numbers he put up and 2 fouls in 30 minutes any time. Keep it up DC.
