Great effort and play tonight. Bradley dominated Wichita the last 15 minutes to run away with an easy victory 65-50. Wichita State needed a 3-point play by Ramon Clemente with a few seconds left to reach 50 points, and had a tremendous difficulty scoring all night.

Great game plan and execution.

only saw 2nd half due to a chem lab. but what I saw was splendid. i really think Therons dunk is sports center top ten worthy if somehow they get a reel of it

WOW....very fun game...tough to watch in the 1st half but the Braves really got aggressive on the D'.....nice games by all but DD is my player of the game...hits the shots or makes a drive when we need the pts! Nice to be in 2nd all alone!

I thought the officiating was OK. But they allowed way too much hand-checking again by Wichita. Bradley doesn't try to get away with so much of that, they play defense by being quicker, and not by impeding the movement of the offense.

we do our share of grabbing getting through screens. WSU didn't do as much as other teams IMO.

I though JL and the black=haired ref was going to get into it right before the half. Good thing halftime was close or something was going to happen.
Personally I think JL gets out of line with the refs. He's on the refs more than any coach in the league it seems.

Anyone hear the attendance? And KUDOS to who-ever started putting up in game stats on the end signs...those went from being a waste of money to something to watch IMO.....its nice to see the rbs-stls- 3 pt and such during the game and also being very readable!

I missed the first half as I was hurrying in from work.. But Bradley looked pretty great once I got there. Really solid defense, great hustle and intangible play (except one little exception), good ball movement... Theron's dunk was absolutely ridiculous. I feel like he's really got a "I'm the senior" mindset, and I like it.

P.S., after the last second three at the buzzer, if lip reading is correct, Les told their coaches, "I apologize for that." So much for him being the most arrogant coach in the league.

Yes, he said "I'm sorry, I told him not to shoot", then he appeared to say something about the Kouri's giveaway point total as the reason Roberts took the shot.

There's a giveaway? Me get consumer product or goods or services?! Where where? Me free stufffzzzz.

(That means I think the shot was still unnecessary.)

I agree that JL gets on the refs...but very rarely is it truly unwarranted....my son and I were the best seats in the house move and from our vantage point TW got hammered on a rebound and put back and nothing was called then we go down on D and get called for a foul....JL was only telling the guy to call it the same on the other end. I have no problem with that...if the ref is so sensitive to that...then he shouldn't be calling the game.

BTW...sat right next to the WSU bench and Marshall complained about almost every BU stop on D. He seemed to think there was a foul on every play. In the first half he complained about a missed 3 second call for 5 minutes and even pulled a ref over during a ft situation to continue to complain about it. The ref said to him "Hey, I am reffing the game" and Marshall said "Well, you are not doing a very good job of it then"!

The head official had done a Final 4 game recently.

No doubt some of the calls were bad......but it was a pretty fairly called game. It just seems that JL does more talking(or yelling) directly to the refs right at them when they are coming down the floor. From my viewpoint I see both coaches equally since we sit behind scorer's table a three rows up.
Many of the coaches are a little more discreet when complaining to the refs than JL.
Something about Marshall just bugs me......seems like a ying-yang to me...

Did anyone notice that about 10 mins into the 2nd half we had 3 freshman on the court in the heat of the game....I hope this bolds well for the future...TB-DN and EM should be playing like sophomores by tourney time with the early game experience! Plus on 3 to's in the 2nd half!

Great defense for most of the game. DD played very well. DC played a good game. Rebounding good but blocking out could be better. Good ball movement. Still not comfortable with the free throws and turnovers. Also, when teams press to take time off the clock, I wish we could make them pay for it more often, but our guards are young. Also, I see times when we break the press that we don't even look to take advantage. Players just relax and set up the offense. I would like to see BU attack and kisk it back out if nothing comes of it. This teams calling card is defense and I compliment the players and coaches for it, since I have been 1 of the biggest complainers about it.

The D was solid, and we were disturbing the passing lanes like crazy. It is hard to be happy with the offense because it still is iffy and we look lost at times, but we need to use the defense to create offense more. We can't consistently win a low-scoring, halfcourt game - we should have had more steals tonight and should not have slowed up on some fastbreak / mini-fastbreak opportunities.

That being said, we are really really young / inexperienced. We have a bright future, and it is surprising that we are 7-3 the way we struggle shooting, but that says a lot about our ability to stay in games.

And we need to throw it into wide open DC more often. I am a fan of his low-post shots.

Also, I wish TB would make one of his sweet dunks.
