Postgame thread- Bradley 76 Iowa State 66 - BU's RPI soars

Doug Elgin needs to be sure to send Greg McDermott a bottle of wine for Christmas.
Iowa State is mightily reponsible for the MVC having a much better RPI than the Big XII.

Just got back to our hotel from the Wells Fargo Arena. What a nice stadium. Too bad Drake couldn't have worked a deal to play there, I think it would elevate their program.

I agree DC what a nice stadium. I wonder if they have applied for NCAA tourney games. One of the ushers said it will hold 17,000 for BBall. As for the game I really liked the teams body language at time outs regardless of the crowd. I think they got used to winning last year and now just expect to win. The seem to walk with that swagger. I know I have said it before but this is a fun team to watch.

Here is another article on the game from a different Iowa newspaper--

And here's an article about Rutgers. They looked terrible when we beat them in Chicago back on November 24. But they have now won 4 straight and are 5-5. Their RPI is still down at 233.
Their 4 wins are against Nebraska (RPI 122), New Hampshire (316), Princeton (166), and Iona (323). Things will get a little tougher for them soon as they will have to start play in the Big East. All 15 other Big East teams are above them in RPI-

Des Moines has applied for an NCAA regional, although no luck so far on the men's side. The arena will be hosting women's NCAA regional in a few years.
