Practices have been going on for a while now. Other than some pics being posted, does anyone know how they have really been going so far. What are the perceived strengths and weakness of this years team. Season is a little over two months away. All the new faces it will take me a bit of time to put names with faces. Does Dave Snell and Chad Klein allowed to attend practices. If so maybe someone can ask them of their opinion.

Did you see the really great report by Jim Mattson last Thursday?

In this interview Coach Wardle says that all the workouts and practices have gone well, but there haven't been any other independent reports
from any observers (except this one--> LINK - scroll forward to 3:25) I wish our local media would get in there and provide us a little more...

Then he has dismissed the whole team for the next two weeks until they have to be back for fall classes.
There may be some players who are taking 2nd Summer Session classes, and Summer Session II ends August 19.
All Fall Session students return to campus August 22-26, Fall Classes begin Wednesday August 26.

With this many new guys, its more of a sorting process of figuring out what you've got on the roster.

Anything at this point is probably "Is the defense really good or the offense really bad?" style question of any intra-squad scrimmaging.
 
I agree - need more connectors in the offseason. May/June are hard because guys are off campus for most of that. July a lot of folks are into vacationing and the staff is out recruiting a lot of the weekends. But it shouldn't go from March to October with no contact with all fans.
