Preseason College Basketball Magazines

The two earliest preseason basketball preview magazines have announced their release dates......

Lindy's will be released Sept. 1, and Athlon shortly thereafter. I suspect all the mags will go with UNI as preseason #1 pick, with CU, ISU, CU in the top four.
Wonder if anyone will give BU a top 4 spot?

CU's good enough to be in the top-4 twice? I think without Booker, they should only be ranked 3rd and 6th this year! ;)

I know the coaches probably prefer this but I'd rather have a team that is feared and respected. Hopefully, things will be different after this season. :)

That's the goal. . .we want to have both the "target on our back" yet "fly under the radar". . .that way we're always motivated. . .

I'd always prefer to ranked #1. That gives your program respect.

Yea? So how'd that "respect" work out in the 2000 season? If I recall correctly, Bradley was picked (in many pre-season sports publications) to win the MVC and be a possible Bracket Buster that year.

Yea... they were a Buster all right.

What's that got to do with it? If you're picked to win that's respect for the program, that's all I'm saying. What's wrong with that? I like the team I root for to be that well thought of in the pre-season polls. There can be reasons it doesn't work out, injuries, etc.

Oh - cheeze-n-rice. I don't even know where I want to begin with and go with here... too many... forgedaboutit...I'm out.
