That's just god awful! And I thought we had offensive problems earlier in the season!

There must be something in the air tonight because we also had these finals:

Citadel over Davidson 64-46 (at Davidson!)
W. Michigan over E. Michigan 46-38
Georgetown over S. Florida 65-40
American over Army 58-36
Lehigh over Colgate 49-40
George Mason over Drexel 49-48
And of course, Drake over N. Iowa 47-46!

Also a possibility for this game: Nebraska over Colorado 44-38 with 1:35 left.

Some pretty pathetic offense here!

Davidson is nothing without Stephen Curry. Their Bracketbuster game should be interesting if he doesn't play...
 
What a waste of my time! I could have saved 11 bucks and a cold walk down first street, not to mention some valuable study time by not going to this one. This game was so bad, my eyes were bleeding at halftime. Ugly, ugly game. Despite the low scoring, UI blew a 9 point lead.

Boy the committee will love this! Seeing how a team just collapses when one player gets injured will not go over well with the committee. For their sake, Curry better get back in a hurry. I guess Citadel is a good team though. 13-4 in the Southern Conference and 18-10 overall.

Also Nebraska beat Colorado 46-41, adding another offensively challanged game to my list for tonight!
 
I heard one announcer mention in the NW'rn game how 2 guys had the flu.

I have heard of many sick in Illinois. 2 of 3 in my house are sick. (thankfully not me, YET... brb, gonna go wash my hands again).

Many of my BU friends are sick, and I think I am even getting it.
 
I was at the gym and I saw the score flash by on a TV and I thought it was either a mistake or my eye are going really bad. :eek: I'm glad I did not watch that one.
 
All of these coaches must go to the same school of coaching. Dribble the ball outside for 25-30 seconds than try to get off a forced shot. Just a pathetic offensive effort.

I might be in the minority so don't use me to generalize.

But to answer your question (IMO)... last time I checked this is a BRADLEY fans board and there is NOTHING stating Bradley fans are also UIUC fans or have to be UIUC fans.

Do I hate UIUC? No, not really. But I dislike a lot of their fans. ;-)

So in this world of "forced tolerance" which I am SO sick of.... tolerate me. ;-)

I'm trying to get over my Illinois hate, but struggling. Figure it's a mixture of bandwagon-fan hate that comes natural to me, and an inferiority complex about the "big school in the big conference." Plus they didn't accept me when I applied. Something like that, anyway, hehe.
 
People hate teams for a multitude of reasons, IMO. They don't necessarily have to make sense, and I'm fine with people hating on U of I. I have my fair share of schools that I cannot stand. For me, my hatred runs deep with Indiana, and I don't much care for Northwestern either, and let's not forget I Screwed Up.

And yeah, it's a BU board, so as long as everyone supports the Braves on this board, we're in business.
 
i guess just since most of us live in Illinois...i wasnt expectin people to be hating on the state uni haha.

ive always loved both..got into illinois back when Archibald, johnson, krupaljia(sp) and bradford were on campus.

but it was bradley basketball that may have led me to decline illinois and stay in peoria :D
 
Maybe it's an inferiority complex at their size (student population, athletic department budget, etc.), but I was rooting for Northwestern to pull that one out. I'm okay with UIUC football I guess, but I am not a fan of the school in general, and I actively root against them in basketball. My sister went there, so it's something I have to keep somewhat quiet some of the time.
