Recruiting Class Rankings

FWIW - 247 Sports ranks all the DI recruiting classes...

here's how they rank the MVC teams - although note there are a lot of inaccuracies & incompletes in their database..
..interesting, but probably not too meaningful...

Wichita ranks #61 in Division I ...then
#101 SIU
#107 Drake
#116 Loyola
#144 Bradley
#145 Indiana State
#147 Missouri State
#160 ISU
#180 UNI
#197 Evansville

BUT -- and here's a BIG, big qualifier....

They have an incomplete database of recruits - so Bradley's ranking, since so much was done so late, is based on only one recruit - Ronnie Suggs!
So Suggs alone apparently puts Bradley in 5th place in the MVC - gotta figure if the 247 guys knew about the other 8 new guys, then we'd probably be ranked quite a bit higher!
And Loyola's #116 is based on the presumption they landed Roosevelt Smart, which they have not, while SIU's ranking seems pretty up to date with their late signing of Lloyd...

Based on your description of the Bradley rating and my knowledge of the MO State recruiting class - no reason to click on that link or ever pay attention to 247sports.com recruiting rankings. There is no way that 150+ D1 schools had a worse recruiting class than the Bears, could easily put them objectively as the worst class in the Valley.

I know - the rankings as I said are not too meaningful...
.. once the ranking got down to around #150 - then anyone with even a single recruit or two - no matter how low they were rated - filled those spots from about 150 to 190, then from about 190 to the end (350) were teams that had nobody rated at all and thus there's a 153-way tie at #197.
