Recruiting update- visitor coming this weekend

Bradley coaches continue to work hard and travel all over the country in search of a big man recruit for the 2012 recruiting class.

One recruit that has impressed our coaches will be making an official visit to Bradley's campus this weekend. Let's hope for some good news before he leaves!

Charles Barkley was only 6'5". Matt Salley 6'7". Charles Oakley 6'8"...... Plenty of "space eaters" and rebounding specialists and garbage players were not "tall".... but they WERE "big". We don't need height; we have that with Wells. We need a player that doesn't take any cr@p and isn't afraid to knock someone down. This guy could be our man. :)

Would you rather have a near 7 footer that can't jump worth a darn, or have an athletic mid 6 foot dude that can jump for rebounds and block shots out of no where? They both have advantages and disadvantages.

We have needed someone who is not soft for a long time. It would be nice to have a "banger" who will get a technical every once in a while.
 
Long armed, physical, leaper who can box out and has a nose for the ball is always a benefit....

Put some lifts in his shoes and make him 6'7", then add 2 or more inches of hair, and, presto, 6'9"!
