What do you mean or maybe.
Just that maybe Will isn't returning to play. This is apples and oranges, but if Will can only be as healthy as Sammy was this year for Illinois, the Braves would be better off moving on.
What do you mean or maybe.
I have heard Will, unlike Sammy, is doing great and is completely recovered. He should be 100% by next fall.
I have heard the same thing from a source real close to the team. Like a teammate and i think Will will be a big help.
I hope so too.
I suspect there's too many bridges burned but....it wouldn't hurt if we got a few of the Yuba kids...
as always, Yuba had another tremendous season - narrowly losing their State Championship -- with the top jucos in California on par with those anywhere else in the Nation.

The Shayok Shayok note I see as unnecessary. Almost EVERY freshman would be better served redshirting one year. The fact was, we had a thin roster and he was one of the more talent players on it. We didn't have the luxury of redshirting him, especially since we were redshirting Nate.
Now that Bradley has open scholarships, expect a verbal soon.
I don't know specifically. I would guess within the month.
Of March? :? Or within A month? :?:

Another nice article on Yuba College -- I hope we smooth over the situation and keep an eye on all the talent there...

One other thing - USA Today quotes Coach Geno Ford....
"Ford said the MVC probably was better than he imagined looking from the outside as the coach at Kent State
before coming to Peoria.
..."When I got here last April, I knew how important the program was to a lot of people. But I was a little naive.
It's on par with what you would find at a Kentucky or at an Indiana."
