Remy Abell Update

There's basically no chance that Abell will ever be a Brave, trying to put the hooks in him (even for a short time) does nothing other than burn some bridges that BU might want to cross again sometime.

Either get a late period guy or roll it over, messing around with an unwinnable battle does no one any good.

Charlie Weiss called all of his top recruits and told them to still go to ND.

Imagine usuing a contract to your advantage?

This is someone's life. Bradley fired his head coach and father figure for the next 4 years. That comes with consequences. If you wanted him at Bradley then you shouldn't have fired his head coach. Let him go.

Chances are pretty good he'll be let go but I'm betting not until the hire is made. Common sense should prevail. SM was gone the moment JL was let go so giving his release right away was a no brainer. I'm sure his handlers are not worried and I wonder why there are some that are? This is the usual steps that happen in these matters.

Remy got a couple mentions on some sports boards i follow down in louisville. Most people seem to think hes a high quality player and would be a valuable asset to plenty of teams. Plenty of programs in that area would consider him for sure, and he'd get to be a serious player at a school like dayton in a couple of years. Hell depending on the ever fluid scholarship situation at UK, its possible if he were available really late calipari might try and pick him up.

Eastern star Remy Abell was headed to Bradley, but that was before Coach Jim Les was fired. Abell could still end up at Bradley if he likes the new coach. In the meantime, schools who originally recruited the 6-4 guard ??” Penn State, Indiana, Wright State and Marshall ??” are back in the picture. Also showing interest are West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Gonzaga.

Sounds like there are several head coaches that Remy likes besides just Coach Les. Let's hope he also likes the new head coach at Bradley. If he doesn't want to come to Bradley after he has had a a chance to talk with the new coach, then the school should give Remy a release and wish him well. Same would go for DSE. If he wants a release after having had a chance to meet the new coach, then release him and wish him well.
