I just don't see the why he would or should be considered as a starter again...
oh heck no... Singh is the starter for now....imho

Being as DC isn't legitimate, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose there?
DC certainly hasn't shown much. That's why I'm expecting to see a lot of SS, and hoping AT comes around.
Come on B4L, you got us on a sinking ship here and I don't think thats anywhere near the case. It's funny how some people were calling for JL to play big and that we couldn't win going small (Just a week ago). They must of based this on just one player who we had not seen play until last Tuesday. Now he's gone and our only chance to win is go small.:?He may start against MSU (out of necessity as size is needed). If he does I predict he will foul out rather quickly, and this will be the last game that he starts. JL will have no choice but to play small ball the rest of the way and hope his team is more athletic than anyone in the MVC..... And I think we are![]()
Yes...
Please lets find a silver lining here somewhere...
TB is not a 3. He's a 4.
TB is a natural 3. He can shoot the 3, drive and hit the boards. He's only 6'6" at the most. Since when is a 6'6" guy a 4. Just because TW plays the 4 does not make him a 4. A 4 should be able to play D on the 5. I'd never have TB or TW do that. These guys are under sized, strength and weight to handle a 5 appropriately and we would be putting undo stress physically on them. JL will not play TB at the 5 or for that matter TW. We will see SS and DC and hopefully AT will be able to contribute in the near future. I would be more then shock if someone other then one of our bigs start.

SLB22, in trying to find the silver lining, lets start all over. Tell us again just how you feel about DC's play last night or for that matter up until now for the season. JK:lol::lol: I agree with you and share your frustration with him and his play but I still think he can be of some help to this team.
I have no confidence in DC on defense as he plays and moves like he is in quicksand ....
Call me crazy, but at this point in time I view WE's loss as a bigger one than AW. We have enough capable guards and swing players who've shown they're more than capable of picking up the slack (back to back 80 point performances). WE was the first capable post player on both ends we've had since Zach Andrews, and arguably since POB. I would like to believe that the combination of DC/SS/AT can/will keep defenses honest and be able to defend the post, but I am not overly optimistic at this point.
I have no confidence in DC on defense as he plays and moves like he is in quicksand , I know he can score points but he gives up a lot more points then he gets and does not give us any help-side defense around the basket because of his slow reactions.
I prefer the analogy of prison shackles......
SS had a couple real good games. As for them shining, I would be happy with some good D and putting a body on someone and putting anyone coming down the lane on their butt. Theres 15 fouls there to give, guard the **** lane, put them on their butts with good clean fouls and they will think twice maybe before their try again. Fight for postion and rebound:-xTotally agree with you here. Never would have thought this 2 weeks ago. We have plenty of guards to pick up the slack of AW. Sam, Dodie, Roberts, Norris, and Taylor have all proven they can contribute. When will it be DC, SS, or AT turn to shine??
