Starting a new thread regarding this topic, since it involves more than just the personnel turnover issue-

By the way- doesn't the Pantagraph even know the names of the ISU players? the headline says "ISU guard Bryant faces marijuana charge". His name is Bryant Allen. I suspect the headline will get edited eventually.

According to Illinois State University police, Allen was stopped at 3:12 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of School and Willow streets and booked into McLean County Jail at 3:41 a.m. He was charged with possession of marijuana and delivery, driving on a suspended license and disregarding a stop sign.

Not just drug possession and use, but for delivery and distribution of drugs.

And as noted elsewhere, another ISU player, Geoffrey Allen (no relation to Bryant Allen) was kicked off the team last year for the same thing.

At that time, there were a lot of rumors that there were other ISU players involved in the proliferation of drug use among team members.

Muller dismissed numerous players from last year's team with more rumors of problems. Could there have been other players involved?

Renegade? At the very least, there appears to be a lack of discipline over there, and a disturbing culture of drug use by players.

I'm glad swift action was taken by Coach Muller.
Hopefully a roster overhaul is just what ISU needed.

By any chance, did BA enroll in Dakota State's Business College with a major in logistics, and a minor in criminal justice?

When will these kids ever learn?

When they do not get a future scholarship after being kicked out of one college/university for using/selling drugs.

Let the kid clean toilets at Taco Bell to put himself through college in order to play BB.
