it plays like an NBA All Star game - a lot of quick offense but not a lot of defense

[tornado]

Donar was playing real well when Rienk was in there but they took him out late in the 1st quarter and Oostende went on a 14-4 run...
Clearly they need him in there!! Nobody else on Donar blocks out or moves much on offense...

[tornado]

The instant they put Rienk back in Donar goes on an 11-3 run and gets right back into the game...he plays good defense and forces the opponents' defense to spread out because of his range.
The opponents, Oostende, are the #1 top professional team in Belgium...
Some of the other names playing for those top teams include - Chase Fieler (FGCU), Paris Lee (ISU), Anthony Beane (SIU), Carrington Love (ex-Wardle player from Green Bay), Alex Olah (Northwestern), Bryant McIntosh (Northwestern), Sanjay Lumpkin (Northwestern) and both Jeff Wilkins & John Wilkins (ISU) played there.

Update - Halftime score: Oostende 43 - Donar 41
Mast has 6 pts (on 2-3 from 3-pt range), 5 rebs, 1 asst, 1 steal, 1 blk at half with a +/- rating of +11 - best among all players who have logged time

[tornado]

Donar starts the 3rd qtr with a 7-0 spurt to take a 48-43 lead -

kinda getting homered - the foul and the FT discrepancy is getting obvious
Refs calling ticky tack on Donar and nothing on Oostende

[tornado]

** Mast may still be growing - he looks every bit of 6-9 and maybe pushing 6-10 - altho way skinny and nowhere near as broad shouldered or bulky as his 6-10 teammate Drago Pasalic...who Mast seems to be as tall as.
Yannick Desiron is Oostende's center - listed at 6-10 - and Mast seems comparable in height to him, too.
...altho very hard to tell from the angle viewed...

Mast has now played 25:31 of the first 30 minutes playes -
end of 3rd quarter - score is
Oostende 66 - Donar 64

[tornado]

Oostende gets hot and hits 3's down the stretch...
They win 88-80 after a flurry of FTs

Rienk Mast is a smart, active player with length and 3-pt ability - but can play & defend the post as well...
Sometimes he looked like Cellus and at other times like Jack Sikma
I am pumped that he is coming to Bradley!
