Sammy Sosa before and after pictures

Sammy Sosa's skin appears to have lightened considerably (Michael Jackson would be jealous). Photographs taken at an event in Las Vegas reveal a surprisingly light pigmentation on the former slugger. While no cause has been established at this time, the web site Midwest Sports Fans speculates that steroid use could be a factor.

I am not aware of any report that the type of steroids athletes use can cause this.
Topical steroid creams have been tied to local areas of pigmentation changes, but not all over the body.

BTW - I read that midwestsportsfans.com site, and the writer says he did a search for any connection between pigmentation changes and steroids...and he found nothing like this.
But he notes that as many as 2% of the population may have some degree of spontaneous de-pigmentation (called vitiligo)...so that would be more likely that the steroids.

or maybe Sosa simply went to a cosmetologist and/or sought out commonly available treatment for bleaching one's skin.
If you do a google search for "skin bleaching" - you get more than a half-million hits, and ads.

He probably is not in the sun as much as when he played but we are talking a huge difference in skin color. I vote bleach!

I am sorry, but if I notice a face cream I am using is DRASTICALLY changing the color of my skin, that may be an indication that I should stop using it... I guess his brain is as corked as his bat...

N-monney,
alcohol kills your liver...it is terrible for you and will probably destroy you

are you gonna stop drinking?

i rest my case
