Bradley will be receiving Letters of Intent from multiple players today (4/16/08 ).

We know at least 2 of them--
Dodie Dunson and Darian Norris.

Bradley already has signed LOIs from Chris Roberts and Eddren McCain from the November signing period.

As soon as we hear news confirming the receipt of any Letters, we'll post it. I also think we should be prepared to hear some unexpected news in the next few days. :)

Bradley has been invited to play in the inaugural 'College Basketball Tournament of Postseason Champions (and runner-ups)' (CBTPC)? I heard that we would be playing Tulsa for a 4th time for the right to play Kansas. Winner of that one gets the winner of Ohio St/Ole Miss v Memphis. I want another shot at Memphis! :)

All kidding aside...I look forward to some more good news.

I fully expect to sign another recruit as Les has not made any statements saying that we were done signing new players, I think he would have after our last verbal.

That is evidenced by the fact that another 2008 guard is scheduled to visit this weekend.

That may not still be true. Recall that this report was published before the latest commitment. IMO there seems a good chance this could have changed.

Just going by the timeline that I'm aware of. Kaylon's scheduled visit was reported on this board some seven hours after word of DN's commitment and I never heard otherwise.

Well, look at it this way... One of BU's best ever, Hersey Hawkins, had a great career here- a super NBA career as a guard and yet he played center in High SChool...

The timeling appears to look like this--
The report of Kaylon Williams visiting Bradley came from an article on the Mississippi State Rivals board posted Monday morning (4/14). But that article was based on an interview with Williams' AAU coach from Sunday (4/13).
http://southernmiss.rivals.com/content.asp?lin=1&script=content.asp&fid=&cid=797319&tid=&mid=&rid= (probably a premium article)

The first public word of Norris committing came from a Rivals article posted just after noon on Monday (4/14). So I am sure that the statement that Kaylon Williams had plans to visit Bradley was made by his AAU coach before he could have known about Norris committing to BU.

Let me state that I do not know what Williams will do. But in my opinion, I think there is a good chance he would change his plans since BU has already signed 3 point guards in this 2008 recruiting class and does not have any more scholarships to give.
We'll try to find out and let people know.

Dodie Dunson must have been putting in a lot of time in the weight room. When fans see him next fall, they will be impressed with his size. Below is a picture from the Vincennes website, but he has bulked up since that picture was taken. I saw him at the last Bradley home game, and he looks very muscular.
I think his strength, and athleticism will pay dividends, and he will get some meaningful playing time next season.
Chris Roberts is a strong kid, too.-

Dunson is about 6'3" 195 lbs, he'll be a force in the Missouri Valley. I'd say he'll be in the Valley's top 3 players along with Eldridge and Young.

Wow...really. Do tell. Thats good to hear even if it is only one mans opinion.

Don't forget CU's Woodfox and Stinnet.

Wow! This is a pretty strong endorsement coming from scout4126! He is a very knowledgeable poster who's opinions are usually "right on", and I have come to repsect what he says about a prospect.

Whether Stinnett should be included in the top three is irrelevant to me......Just the fact that Dunson is held in this high regard is VERY exciting to me and great for Bradley basketball!! :) :) :)
