Slightly OT: Markin Center

I just got back from the dedication ceremony. The place is absolutely unbelievable, I just can't get over it. I'm really glad I get to enjoy it until May when I graduate and I can't see how it won't help get even more students on The Hilltop. Great job by everyone involved.

Awesome. I think that graduates over the last 20 years or so are saying "Why couldn't that have been there when I was in school?". I know I am.

I one of those who was saying the same thing. I even emailed my brother a link so he can show it to my nephew who I am trying to recruit to attend BU. I'm spinning in it as BU Country Club. All they need are a few Jacuzzis, move the golf course closer and add some tennis courts on campus.

I didn't even feel like I was at Bradley when I was in it....

Wow...

Something that Bradley can really be proud of for years to come

keep up this Bradleyanism

There are tennis courts on campus, right across from the Markin Center. They're called the Markin Tennis Courts.

It does have frisbee golf set up... Does that count?

I use to play all the time 20 years ago! Great course if I remember correctly or it could have been due to the use of ...... I have fond memories hanging out in Bradley Park.

It should be noted that even if Alumni, faculty and staff have to pay a little fee next yr, it should be a lot less than a yearly membership to Landmark or the Riverplex. You can get virtually the same experience or better at the Markin than those 2 places. Well, except for parking during the weekdays.

The two do seem to go hand-in-hand....err...allegedly.

George: I'm gonna play frolf.

Jerry: You mean golf?

George: Frolf, frisbee golf Jerry. Golf with a frisbee. This is gonna be my time. Time to taste the fruits and let the juices drip down my chin. I proclaim this: The Summer
of George!
