Bradley plays Maryland tomorrow night at 5:00 pm CST in the Sweet 16 of NCAA soccer. Both teams won their 2nd round games in penalty kicks after playing to a draw after regulation and 2 overtimes.

Looks like this weather is bad coast to coast....at least if it IS wet I hope its warm(er) then here.

Good luck to soccer team.............I was kinda hoping the games were at the same time so we could get (good) updates DURING the hoops game. I'd love to hear 10k all roar when Herzog announces. "We have a FINAL score Maryland 2.........(long pause)......YOUR BRADLEY BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVES...3
 
I stayed home from the basketball game to listen to the soccer game. About 6:30 I was waivering. Decided not to give up or maybe it was my wife's car sliding off the driveway into the yard - either way I kept listening. Unbelievable finish by the Braves. These guys don't quit, they don't have any fear. They have REDEFINED BRAVE.
 
I love this line from one of the guys on the Maryland message board...

"2-0 in soccer is = 56-0 at the half in football... this baby is over, book this one to the terps. how to we match up with osu or ucsb?"

then the very next post says:
"well it's 2-1 now.
dam*n, thats like 56-49 now, what happened?"

Then someone tell the guy...
'Scott, you're an idio*t. they just tied the game dumbas*s."


Finally after the game, someone actually blames the guy who climed 2-0 was a guaranteed win!
"we lost. please ban scotlacrock. this ******************** cost us the game."

Someone is psychic...

I went crazy at the game when I heard the news they were tied at it was in OT...then came the announcement that we won!
