Don't know if this has been posted but I just had this info passed on to me......

"WMBD AM 1470 will broadcast the quarterfinal soccer game on Sunday and the Ohio State athletic department will offer a video stream of the game on its website, www.OhioStateBuckeyes.com. Brian Bedo, a former Charley Steiner Intern in the Bradley Sports Information Office and a current intern for WGN radio in Chicago, will provide the play-by-play for Sunday's broadcast on WMBD and former Bradley All-American and major league soccer player Tim Regan will serve as the radio analyst."

I dug up this old thread from last December about the webcast of the BU-Ohio State soccer game in ther NCAA playoffs. 2007 BU grad Brian Bedo was the play-by-play broadcaster. It looks like Brian is trying to make a career out of broadcasting. Maybe some of our members know Brian?

I found an article that reports that Brian Bedo has a new job. He will be the play-by-play webcaster for the Sanford Mariners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. It is a long-time summer league for collegiate players. The Sanford Mariners play in Sanford, Maine.

I'm pretty good friends with (Brian) Bedo, he just left for the job Sunday and will be there most of the summer. He had a going away party this weekend and is pretty excited about the opportunity. He was a regular at the basketball games(he always wore a Chiefs/Braves Jersey) and actually called some of the MVC Tournament games... Brian does hope to make a career out of broadcasting and has had some pretty nice internships. I'm sure he'd love to see people here were taking interest in him. He had a story follow him in PJS for the past year I believe, I'm sure we could look it up...
