Speech National Champions!

Bradley Speech won their 42nd national Championship this weekend! Its their first since 2013.

but the lack of success since 2013 is finally reversed - so thanks again to Dr. Gary Roberts and staff - and while we're at it
thanks also to Dr. Chris Reynolds for such great improvement in everything in Athletics.
 
The success of the Bradley speech & debate teams goes back 50 years or more. They have taken home innumerable trophies over the years that they have warehouses filled with them and their trophy cases have only got enough room to display a tiny fraction of them. The national recognition and success goes back to when the late Dr. Lawrence Norton was head of the speech department. I got to know Dr. Norton very well, and there was never a more dedicated and hard working man, and that goes for his entire staff. Later the speech, debate, and forensics teams continued their successes under the esteemed Dr. George Armstrong, and many other great leaders who followed.
