St Louis favorite....

I still disagree with you here. OE is the best player on the court? I don't see how we can have a Pre-Season AA candidate and a person who gets much more respect nationally in Daniel Ruffin and still have OE as the best player on the court. He is the best scorer, but those are two totally different statements. IMO King O is much more worried about getting his than the W, and that is a weakness I think we can and will exploit given the chance. If we get him out of rythm we can get him taking lots of bad shots and really slow down ISU.

I would think that following BU and other mid-majors, you'd have learned by now that preseason accolades and hype mean absolutely nothing. Yes, OE is the best player on the court every time he steps on the court in the MVC. Josh Young maybe has an argument, but that's about it. As far as King O being only worried about offense, I would ask if you have seen Daniel's defense this year? Have you seen all of the players who've gone for career highs against him? OE also rebounds at about twice the clip that DR does, and rebounding is as big of a part of defense as any. Remember, OE is only a sophomore. By the time he's DR's age, he'll have his share of preseason AA accolades as well. However, I am talking about the here and now, and presently Osiris Eldridge is the best player in the MVC.

As much as I hate "Kind O" and it pains me to say it...you're probably right. At least Daniel keeps a respectable haircut though.

from what I am hearing, if Dom Johnson plays, it may hurt the team, as he is still not well.
If they make the NCAA, then there'll be enough time for him to recover more.

Man, that stinks. ISU or not, you hate to see any kid, let alone a senior, go through that.
