FYI- thats not possible... it would have to be the 5/12 game or the 4/13 game.... 5 seed doesn't play the 13 seed...
 
If UNI did play Illinois in the first game I bet we all will be able to hear BW whine about his luck on Sunday. :lol: I would love to see that match up! I doubt that the NCAA will do that because I expect the decent mid majors to play each other first followed by a 1-2 seed to polish them all off.:evil:
 
I am gonna let you all in on something right now. UIUC will get someone easier than UNI in the 1st round. Right now, here's Palm's 12 and 13 seeds:

13 seeds
American
Cleve St
St F Austin
VCU

12 seeds
W Ky
Utah St
UNI
Siena

I think Cleve St and VCU are much better than St F Austin and American. Palm currently has UIUC against VCU. That's NOT going to happen.

I can almost guarantee you UIUC will get the EASIEST team from that bunch.

I have no idea about St F Austin but all the other 12-13 seeds look pretty good in my book. Regardless of who they play in those games, there are no easy games with those teams. As I said the NCAA will pair the automatic bids from terrible conferences with the power teams and for the first round they will pair as many mid-majors against each other as possible with second round games against the power teams. ;-)

Why would UIUC get the easest team of the bunch? What is different between then and the other 4/5 seeds?
