Ah yes.. well actually he is from Stanley, Wisconsin.. MY mother grew up in Eau Claire and would have you know that Stanley is a short hop from there..
I will be there in a month for annual summer week-long return to my home state...

Maybe Evan can come play against my next post player. We have a young man at Yuba College who just showed up. (no I didnt recruit him).Needless to say he just turned 16 yrs old, is from Nigeria, is a 4.0 student, wants to be a doctor, has never played basketball untill 3 months ago, and is 6'11 and 255 pounds and very athletic. He almost quit last night when Zach (who was in town playing) dunked on him so hard the kid didnt know what to do. I had to convince him to stay and that soon with work he will get him back someday. Zach had a great talk with the young man and had to explain to him where Bradley University was. The young man was in the weight room at 10am working hard so look for him to be a national recruit in 2 years IF he can convince dad that playing basketball is a good idea for his future.

Wow, not many coaches have that kind of luck. A 6'11" big man just happens to enroll at your college, and decides to walk-on and tryout for basketball.
What's the kid's name? We'll keep track of him.
Tell Zach to go easy on him.
I think Zach has a real good chance to lead the country in rebounding now that he is the main man. In the first part of the season, when Patrick O'Bryant was out for those first 8 games, Zach had some very good rebounding numbers.
He had that 15 rebound game (11 offensive) and 19 points against Western Kentucky, and the 11 rebound (7 offensive) and 11 point game against Butler. I think we'll see more of that next season.
