I think Stan is reading the memoirs of DeAndre Thomas, DeAndre Miranda, Clarence Holloway, Brian Carlwell, Robert Eppinger, Blake Mishler, Josh Crittle, Michael Rembert, Aaron Spears, Marcus Arnold, Najeeb Echols, and others....
....all highly rated (and way overrated) big men - mostly out of Chicago, who really never did a thing once they got to college...

BU was after Simpson pretty hard if I recall. I wonder if he ever thinks to himself that he could be starting and contributing for a good school in a good conference as he wastes away in Champaign.
