That intentional foul call was the worst #!*#!* call Ive ever seen!

I understand it was a closely called game, but a questionable intentional foul with 22 seconds should not decide a game. That was, yet again, another terribly called game by officials in the valley.

There are just some things you can't control. Only hope you can overcome them. Unfortunately - time was an issue for them to overcome it. But one bad call doesn't decide a game.

I agree....the scoring drought for 8 minutes hurt us the most

I ordinarily agree, but this one might have. We cut it to 2 on the next play, and thus might have tied the game without that call.

An intentional foul call should not be made in that situation unless a punch is being thrown. Absolutely horrible.

I agree. Yet, it certainly doesn't help if the Braves are in the process of trying to overcome. That 3 by Dodie was huge and for a ref to step in with a call like that just leaves an unsettling feeling in my stomach.

The UNI player flailed his arms in the air dramatically and the ref bought it.Send the tape to Doug Elgin. We deserve better officials than this.

There were a million bad calls both ways...The intentional foul call was laughably bad, but BU got a lot of bad calls that went their way as well...It was just really bad both ways, IMO.

But then we come down for a layup and they called a phantom foul on UNI..so the officials were bad both ways

Why in GOD's name, ... ... ...

Do we stay in the misery valley conference? Intentional fouls go against us at home and on the road. Fouls are called on us at home without exception when the crowd {finally} gets involved. Every year. Same story. There are so many better places to go where these kinds of things will not happen! Get out while the getting is good.

The intentional foul was a totally ridiculous call... But I don't think we got homered, I think it was just incredibly, INCREDIBLY, bad refereeing all game long. I'm tired, as I recall being every year, of MVC refs. I don't watch any Patriot League games, but I'm going to suggest they might be reffed "THIS" well. MVC needs to spring the cash for good refs, and do it right now.

Agreed. When you go 8 minutes without a field goal, losses usually happen.

Still though, that call was horrendous! I'm surprised refs don't get evaluated from time to time because that was atrocious! BUT again, I don't think that said call cost us the game. We had great defense but just couldn't shoot the ball well late. And Les was very complimentary of Northern Iowa and of Bradley's 40 minute effort. But you could tell Les was biting his lip to not say anything against the refs during the postgame. Classy move on his part.

I felt those refs had it in their minds who won that game before it even started... and that intentional foul with 22 seconds left confimed those feelings. What foul with 22 seconds left, in a college basketball game, being as close as this one was, ISN'T AN INTENTIONAL FOUL?!?!?!?!?!?! Isn't our aim in that situation TO FOUL???? Horrible.

Every foul under 35 sec. is intentional! However, it is seldom , if ever called.,
However, this is the 2nd time it has happened to Bradley within the last year!
Why is it, every time Dave Draucker is on the court TERRIBLE things happen to Bradley!?.

yes the conference is against BU at home and away every year.....it's a big conspiracy....

I am a huge Bradley fan and a recent graduate but every time I come on here after a loss the whining about the refs is embarassing. We choked away a double digit lead in the second half and that really didn't have much to do with officiating. Try to talk about something we can control like not leaving shooters wide open or attacking the basket and getting to the line.

Any way I could see this foul that apparently was so bad some officials should be castrated for it???

sorry I had to... but really... anyway I could see this?
