That intentional foul call was the worst #!*#!* call Ive ever seen!

Unfortunately not a phantom intentional foul that gives us a few free throws and the ball back.

still there was bad calls throughout...yes that was the biggest one.....but if we go 8 min without a bucket we hurt ourselves as much as anyone

This is a reflection on the Valley. MVC can have good players, good coaches but with terrible refs the MVC puts out an average product! We'll send in the tape to the MVC office and nothing will be done.

Does anyone know what the process is for reviewing officiating in this league. I bet there is a peer review that represents the overall conclusion of the review. I'm disgusted by the overall quality of the refs and the product that the Valley is allowing the refs to build. We should consider an other league that considers reffing an important part of their overall product.

Imagine a hotel room with great views and a killer bed but with a terrible bathroom you would percieve the hotel as not that good.

I don't think the refs "lost" this game for Bradley. BU didn't make a field goal for 8 minutes or whatever. That's what got us. On the other hand, that ref DID decide the game when it was still a game Bradley could have won (unlikely, but possible)

Intentional foul?

NCAA does not do alot of reviewing or sanctioning of Refs.

The NCAA needs to look at this tape and put this crew under scrutiny.

Games are to be decided by the players not the officials, this official over steped his authority.

I think Jim Bain is still head of the officials and has been for awhile I think...

Maybe we need someone new there.

Again, I agree. But as all of us know, good officiating is when they go unnoticed. It seems the MVC has referees that want to be a part of the action, and god willing, they seem to achieve this across the board.

The flagrant foul call helped determine the ending and was a horrible call. Other than that call it was pretty even, though there were many really bad calls.

I am a huge Bradley fan and a recent graduate but every time I come on here after a loss the whining about the refs is embarassing. We choked away a double digit lead in the second half and that really didn't have much to do with officiating. Try to talk about something we can control like not leaving shooters wide open or attacking the basket and getting to the line.

What you should be embarrased about, the refs this conferfence perpetuates on the Fans and the players of this league!
Why? Because when I pay good money to see a game or go to a restaurant to watch a game, I.want the PIayers to decide the game, not the refs.To often, in THE VALLEY, that is NOT the case.
As fans we deserve better and for d*** sure, so do the players!
You and the Missouri Valley refs can be and should be embarrased.
You both accept inferiority.
That is WHY!

What was the score, possession, and time left when the intentional foul was called???

Did they make both FT's? What did they do when they got the ball back after the FT's... thanks in advance

Embarrassing??? The Valley should be embarrass for providing these guys night in and night out. They are trying to save money but are killing the overall product. Win or lose the MVC refs are really bad. They want to be part of the show. I'm sorry if I whine about this. It has been happening since I've followed the MVC, 20 plus years worth. Have you seen the way the bigger conferences call their games? They let the players decide who wins!! That is all I want, so maybe we should consider moving to another league that believes that reffing is a very important aspect of the game and that they will do what it takes to get the best.

What did they say?

You could tell Les was peeved from the second he got on the mic, said he wasn't going to say anything, it was obvious how he felt. Coach Buescher kept apologizing to the fans for his questioning of the officials, and he complimented Dave for not doing the same. CB just gets excited. If you remember watching him coach, it's the same as it ever was.
