The free BU car flags

Actually, every promotion makes money for Bradley.
The sponsors pay for the giveaways, but they pay extra for the right to have the promotion, and advertise their product/service.
Why would anyone have anything against this kind of promotion as long as it benefits BU?
I tried to get an extra car flag after the game, and found out there were none left. They had all been given away. So plenty of people appreciated them.

We have 3 of the BU car flags. There was no one handing them out at the entrance we came in at, but as we walked aroud the concourse, they handed them to us at another entrance near where our seats were.

DC...not to dispute your comments, but where I exited the CC, there were several boxes of flags still available. I even overheard someone mention that he was "standing guard" over the boxes until they could be picked up.
 
They weren't giving them away at the new doorways going into the new edition. As a matter of fact, I didn't see any posters there and they did not give away t-shirts there last year. Does anyone have connections that could find out why the crowd that comes in those doors are left out?

We love the flags. I know many have asked for them when discussing bookstore offerings. We will fly them proudly when traveling to daylight games, road games, MVC tourney, etc.
 
Love the car flag. This is the best promotion ever in my opinion. You will see me flying one or two on the way down to St. Louis this year, and to other road games if I go. Thanks to the disgruntled fans friday night who left theirs with their empty beer cups, I scored enough to open a small merchandise shop.
 
Im glad I got one. They were out at the door I came in by but I found some others later. Only took one but wish I'd taken 2 so I could fly one on each side on theway to st Louis this year.
 
I got several and will use them when the weather gets better, 0 to 10 above is not great to have air coming in to the car.
 
I went to the game with my son. He enjoyed picking up enought flags for himself, me, my wife, his brother and sister! We will be flying them tonight as we go to the game!!!
 
OK..then the first car I spot with more than one BU car flag will get a prize similar to the pick-ems...but I will have to spot the license, then tell the location where I saw the car & see if anyone PM's me the proper car description and license #...fair enough??
 
I will use my car flag as I head, Hopefully, to the perennial 2:30 game in St Louis. If its a play in game, not so much.
The Marcellus Sommerville Bobble head doll promotion was the best. They should do a couple of those a year, with different players of course.

Somehow I doubt I will win this prize...unless tornado is taking a road trip soon...

I have never thrown away a game program or scoresheet and have multiple hundreds, as well as photo pocket schedules, and the little souvenier basketballs they throw out and sometimes give out for autographs.
I have seen multiple hundreds of people wearing one of the giveaway T-shirts from previous promotions...my own kids wear them all the time...and I not only own hundreds of sets of the player collector cards, I have even sponsored a few of those promotions, and occasionally give away some of the older ones as prizes in the pick-ems, and the winners are often quite excited to get them and are thankful.
All the Braves Club members get the windshield decal and I've seen hundreds, and I still use a BU key chain from so many years ago I can't remember how long...
I have a couple souvenier BU plastic drinking cups from many years ago we still use regularly, and my kids also still play with the gray "Throw me the Rock" basketballs that were part of a promotion way back in the Billy Wright era.

I still have two Sweet Sixteen towels and a giveaway T-shirt from the DePaul game three years ago. I am proud to display/wear them as well as my "Bradley football team still undefeated" t-shirt! :D
