The New Matt Roth Thread

Matt Roth was televised and interviewed on the 10PM news last night
and he is still very solid and very confident about his decision to go to Indiana next year.
In fact, Indiana received three of the letters of intent they expected, from Matt, but also from Tom Pritchard and Terrell Holloway. Their highest rated recruit has not yet returned the LOI, Devin Ebanks, a top-10 guy nationally.
But is it fair for IU to secure kids who they recruited illegally and violated NCAA restrictions in order to land?
Shouldn't someone demand the NCAA nullify those LOI's?
If the NCAA had a pair, they'd ban Kelvin from coaching for the next five years, and those recruits should be required to go elsewhere.

Let it rest. If Matt wants to go to a school like iu then let him. If the local paper had a ????? we wouldn't hear much about mr the rest of his career and for myself I could really care less haw he does at iu.

Stopping the LOI? What if the kids who were recruited that way still want to go to IU?? What if they don't care?? Are you saying the NCAA should make those kids go somewhere else? These kids are 18 or will be by the time they go there, so it's should be the kid's decision whatever the case.

Stryker...it has been done before....when kids are illegally recruited, the NCAA has, in rare instance, prohibited the kid from playing at the violating school, thus forcing him to go elsewhere.
I doubt however, unless it was Bradley or some other mid-major, that the NCAA would ever impose that penalty on a Big Ten school.

I was unaware of that, but it seems like an injustice to the kid, who really didn't do anything wrong. I don't know.

Sampson should be fired; IU should be put on probation for 2 years with no tour. for those 2 years and the recruits can either stay or leave .

I would belly-laugh if Indy wins the National Title... it would just make me laugh so hard! Heck, now I am kinda rooting for it.
