The Sky Is NOT Falling

Which brings me to my next couple of points; Milwaukee is not a basketball rabid city and anyone who thinks so is seriously mistaken. The population of Milwaukee is not "one million" but closer to 570,000 which is a huge difference. The greater Milwaukee area pop is over one million but that area includes suburbs that are 20 or more miles out. Basketball games in the city aren't a big pull for those people. This has been a hot topic given the continued decline in Milwaukee's (city) population.

Should we not count my friends from Metamora who regularly go to games as a possible fan base?

What about my friends in Fenton who have season tickets to the Cardinals? They have to make that drive 80 TIMES A YEAR!!!! Oh the humanity!!

Come on dude, it's the Metro area. I'd be willing to bet a LARGE portion of our fans don't have a Peoria address.

Good points and I'm not trying to argue with anyone. If your fans from Metamora regularly go to games that's awesome and I'm all for it. Season tickets for a MLB team is a different beast IMO. I have buddies all over WI and some IL who are season ticket holders to the Brewers (laugher right!!) and make the regular trips.

My main point was that Milwaukee basketball isn't a huge draw for the people of Milwaukee (the city and metro area) so attendance sucks. The program is young(er) without much of a base and had a pretty nasty setback over the last four or five years. I can guarantee that Milwaukee isn't rabid about basketball though, come on, the Bucks, really?! THE BUCKS?! However still a much better draw than Panthers BB. Milwaukee is playing third fiddle...

Yet, there's something that's kept Jeter there, at least for now.
