Throwback Uniforms?

Any chance the Braves break out the throwbacks again sometime this year? It sounded like there was a chance of it in the DR postgame article.

I miss the blue in the uniforms.... the cursive writing was a nice change of pace on the uniforms. Those were a good design from the mid 80's.

Didn't mind the throwback jersey...but the shorts looked like plaing white gym shorts and I also miss the names on the back...I thought the throwback unis were to be sold on BUBRAVES.com next week per auction?

Towards the end of the game I heard Herzog announced they would be on bradleybraves.com to be auctioned. So I doubt we will see these out again.

This why there were no names on the back. You cannot make money off a current NCAA athletes name. It makes them a professional, that's why they can't have shoe deals etc.

One of Jim Les's best comments when he took the job at BU, was that if his teams didn't hustle they would have to wear the uniforms from when he played. No baggy shorts.

If you see the Dave Reynolds' story, it sounds like Jim Les was asking if they could get road throwbacks. Not sure if he was kidding or not. How quickly can new jerseys be printed?

I like the throwbacks. It is a very clean look.

Maybe it could work for us well there...give us that 80's feel going into the dungeon.

I have to admit to liking the throwbacks a lot. I'm pretty sure the coach was kidding, but I still would have enjoyed seeing a road throwback.
