Be prepared to stand in line at Shea for an hour. They only have 2 phone lines. They did finally put up an awning to help keep the standees dry.

Today and Friday for season ticket-holders.

Sale to public starts Friday at 7pm on Ticketmaster, and Saturday morning at the Ticket office (at Shea).

I've seen two different times that Ticketmaster will begin selling tickets (5 and 7) and I've seen where Shea will be selling tickets Monday-Wednesday and also that they will be selling tickets on Saturday. Can anyone clear up some of these details?

Cut and paste from BUBraves:

Season ticket holders can purchase tickets at Shea Stadium Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Fans are reminded that the the Bradley Athletics Ticket office has recently been relocated to Shea Stadium. The general public may purchase tickets beginning Saturday through Ticketmaster.

So now it's Saturday through Ticketmaster? Now I've heard 5pm Friday, 7pm Friday, and Saturday.

What if a season ticket holder is out of state? Can a proxy pick up their tickets? What would be necessary to do that? These are the questions I want to ask the ticket people, but can't find a human being.

I cannot answer for sure, but a lady in front of me DID pick up tix for someone besides herself.

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster Friday night at 7 pm CDT.I had heard a report that the BU ticket office would be open Saturday, but I do not know if that is true. It is not stated in any of the BU releases. However, Ticketmaster will allow ticket sales 24 hours a day, starting at 7 pm tonight (Friday, 3/28 ).For people out of town, Ticketmaster allows for you to print your own tickets out on your home printer. I suggest doing that, since there may not be time to have them mailed out to you. Plus it's the cheapest option, instead of shipping them. For season ticket-holders, maybe the BU ticket office could have the tickets placed at the Will Call window. But you must buy them before 7 pm tonight (3/28 ) or they become available on Ticketmaster. The BU ticket office is 309-677-2625

Great seats available online right now ... making the trek down from Chicago and got Sec. 1! Never sat center court before, should be fun!!

Oh by the way, for the out-of-towners, just do Will Call, as it's free.

Anyone know what row "WC" is in section 13 and/or 1? Are those back of the section or pretty good?

WC is the designation for the Wheel Chair seats. They are the moveable plastic seats that are placed along the inner wall of the concourse. They are sold to the public, but some are reserved for handicapped. Section 13 in the center section, right below where Dave Reynolds and the WMBD broadcast crew are located. Those are good seats.

is the view from row cc any good? :)

AA, BB, and CC are the folding chair seats set on risers (6" for each row) right in front of the permanent seats, closest to the floor. They are great seats, except in section 12 and 14, they are behind the nbenches and sometimes the view can be blocked by the players.

It doesn't sound like the Shea Stadium Ticket Office will open at all this weekend. The bubraves.com splash page is advertising Buy One, Get One Free Upper Bowl Tickets available at the ticket office only Monday-Wednesday 9am-5pm.
