Tonights game

This is amazing, I really expected a great effort but our shooting at times is Harlem Globetrotter like :)

Hope we keep it up rest of the evening and when were on the road.

BU Leads 63-43 with 12:22 remaining

BU missing more shots this half, but are keeing ISU from making a huge run

great job Braves. You guys really kicked our ass. two programs that are heading in opposite directions. my hats off.

Les had his guys ready and the Redbirds obviously weren't ready to do anything except lose by a ton. very difficult to accept.

Congrats on the throttling of my 'Birds tonight, and extra congrats for doing it in front of a record crowd.

We had no answer for anyone. We werent prepared at all. We all knew you guys were plenty capable of lighting it up from anywhere, but we certainly helped that situation by not guarding anyone. It looked like 5 on 0 out there tonight.

Our inconsistency is very puzzling. How we can go from playing a string of solid games, including 1 of our best games all year, to coming out absolutely flat and timid against our #1 rival is confusing to me. You guys took advantage of us playing on our heels and mopped the floor with our asses. Good job.

Cooksey-- curious what you think.....
Dilli was the only really effective player last night, he's in way better shape than some of the guys and wasn't huffing and puffing like Slack and Dyer, yet he logs only 23 minutes, and outfoxed Matt Salley several times.
Add to that, the two BU post defenders were trying like he!! to avoid fouls and let Dilli drive by them, yet he still sat during long stretches as BU pulled away? Why?

No explanation at all Tornado. I would be purely guessing.

All I can say is that Moser has made several questionable decisions when it comes to player rotations and substitution patterns. This appears to be another one. To my knowledge Dilly's foot is no longer a major issue, so I don't know.

Hard for me to tell from just listening to the game. Nothing was mentioned in the post game either.

it's boogie time said:
I didn't realize that the lead got up to 30 points.

Were there many recruits at the game?

I looked thoroughly and saw no recruits at the game.
It would have been a great one for Matt Roth to have been at.

Total mismatch, from the tipoff.
BU played with energy, the Birds did not except tiny spurts when prodded by the coach.
I especially liked the way BU switched time and time again from zone to man, even back and forth alternate possessions.
This is evidence of fine coaching and teamwork.

Ruffin's only turnover was a really fine pass into the lane that would have been a dunk had Dilligard not inadvertently stuck his hand out and deflected it.
