Trivia Question - Missouri Valley

A) among the current MVC teams - does any school have the same coaching staff
(which includes the head coach and top three assistants)
as they did when the head coach was hired?

B) Do any have the same coaching staff as when they did to start 2011?

Here are the answers -- mouse over to read...

A) Only two MVC schools have NOT hired a new assistant since the last head coach was hired...
One is SIU which has the same entire staff as when Barry was hired 2 seasons ago, and the other is Drake which has the same coaching staff as when Giacoletti was hired a year ago.
All other MVC coaching staffs have hired at least one new assistant since their head coach took over - some have hired multiple.

B) No - every single MVC school has made one or more hires to their staff since 2011.
We have hired Coleman, Pittis, and also we've hired Luster for DBO but I wasn't counting the non-coaching spots. Only Uken remains from Geno Ford's original hires on his staff.

Drake does not have the same staff as when Giacoletti was hired. Bill Walker, who was an assistant at DU last season is now the head coach at UI-Springfield. Former DOBO Dave Buchanan was promoted to fill his slot, and was himself replaced by JR Blount

Interesting - thanks DUBulldog...I guess you are right but you'd never know it from the Drake Athletic web site and what they say...
I was going on this page that shows Giacoletti started his first season with the same staff he has now... (see link below)
but there's nothing on that 2013-14 page that mentions Walker - how come?
And if all three current assistants were hired in April of 2013 (which is what their bio pages say) then how could Walker have been assistant for a season?

but the main point of my posting this thread was how fluid the coaching staffs are in the MVC with so many guys being hired away elsewhere..
the Valley is a fertile ground to find coaches to move up the ladder...
