Also to note. What kind of center passes up a 7 foot jumpshot. WIDE OPEN....does cole aldrich have the least finesse of any player in the nation...
 
Good game so far, they need to stay ahead to help control the tempo. As long as they keep playing like they are, I think we'll be very happy with the result.

Seriously he always made them in warm ups whenever I was at the games.

Up after the first half! How many people have picked Kansas to win it all year? This would be one of the greatest upsets in a long time.
 
I just keep hearing Dickie V this morning when talking about this match-up. "Northern Iowa has had a good season, but this is KANSAS, baybee!" And that was all either analyst said about Northern Iowa in two minutes of discussing the game.

It may not hold, but what a fun first half!
 
You cant say enough about UNI. They didn't win as many games as they did and get lucky. They are good and can play with the best. Right Digger?
 
BTW I did pick UNI to upset Kansas in my brackets. There are not to many teams out there that play the D they do with the bigs they have.
 
I'm glad UNI is representing the valley well! Go Panthers! I have a few friends who are Jayhawks snobs and I love rubbing it in their faces.

UNI knows when to take timeouts. I have to say....Les would have let the KU run go on for 5 or 10 more points before calling TO :mad:
