USA vs Angola bball

Eventually this terrible outside shooting is going to catch up with us and we're gonna get knocked out of the tourney. I'd like to see Michael Redd get more minutes.
 
Against Greece we should see more of Michael Redd since they play a tough packed in zone. We'll need someone else to step up and the the 3 from the corner. What I've seen is that corner shot is totally free but as you get closer to the top teams are playing us tighter.

The should never have cut Bruce Bowen, he is the best at shooting corner threes.

Agreed, no one took away from what the Patriots were doing when they barely beat teams, and looked like the had weaknesses. I guess 20+ points isn't enough.

I really think Greece has a good chance of beating us.

Oh I wouldn't disagree at all, but if a team hasn't lost and what they're doing is blowing out opponents, then I'd say they're making OK choices for now.
 
If they are blowing out teams they should does that mean anything?! They have to be a complete team to win the gold and the outside shooting is a problem. When they come up against a good team this could be a very big problem if they cant spread out the defense.
 
If there's any hope in this, Spain barely beat the China team that we blew out by about 40 points LOL. Pulled out a 4th quarter rally to escape humiliation by the Olympic world.

sometimes it is just a little difficult to play well against a bad team.......wish we had more outside shooting threat, but I like what these guys have shown on and off the court thus far.....
