I'm rooting for SIU and Creighton in these games, especially Creighton
 
MSU is 2 games ahead of Bradley with 3 games to play. And because of their 2 wins over BU, they have the tiebreaker. So the only way for BU to get to the #3 seed would be to finish ahead of MSU. That would take BU winning all their 3 remaining games, and MSU losing all 3 of theirs. I calculated the odds of that at about -- .001%. :lol:
 
well i wouldn't say .001% lol they could lose 2 of them against SIU and WSU, and Drake could upset so i'll calculate about 8% :wink:
 
I understand that it would be difficult for BU to get the 3 seed for the MVC tourney, but it would still be great if BU could win out and Mo St. lose 2 more games and BU ties for 3rd. It might help, even if only a little in getting a bid to the Big Dance. A strong finish by BU and a not so strong finish by somebody else might just be considered by the comittee. Also, it would be nice to be able to say that BU finished tied for 3rd and ahead of even more teams that were picked to finish ahead of BU at the beginning of the season.
 
If BU can win their last three games, and if Missouri State in the meantime loses theirs, BU can finish alone in 3rd.
I'd be very happy with 3rd right now, gooooo Salukis!!
