Victory, Honor, and Glory

Does anyone know when the Victory, Honor, Glory books come out? They just cashed my check so i'm guessing soon in the mail? those will be fun to see..

I talked to a lady at the pregame for the Providence game who was passing out fliers. She said she was the publisher of the book... So I asked a few questions about her intentions for any future books (maybe) and about the book itself. She was very excited about her product and said they intended to begin shipping out by 3/23 after some kind of delay had pushed their shipments out from the first week of March... So, I'd say it sounds like the cashing of your check is proof of a shipment going out soon.

Can't wait for my own copy!

Are these books going to be available in stores or do you have to order them? If you have to order them, who do I need to contact?

Oh I thought maybe she was a Brave, assumed since she had a red jersey on. I would've considered enrolling again for a post graduate degree if that was the case... hmm where is Marist?

I spoke with a sales manager at Borders in Peoria and they plan on carrying the book. I myself have reserved several copies in advance. She did tell me though there was a hangup was involving the item not having both a UPC and ISBN and that may affect their ability to carry the item.

I would guess maybe that may have had something to do with the delay.

Barnes and Noble as well as Waldenbooks (soon to become a Borders Express) are also likely to carry the item, but I can not confirm that.

Just to follow up with this... On WMBD this morning,(3/27) there was an interview with the lady who wrote the book. She stated that there will be a 6 week lag time if you want to buy the book from Barnes Noble or Borders. She stated something about the book needing to be processed by their home offices in New York???? The Bradley bookstore will carry the book when it comes in this week.

I also just heard via e-mail when i checked on the status of the order I placed in January. They just received the books and will start shipping them out for previously placed orders later this week. Hopefully should have the book and DVD soon!

I bought one @ the banquet last night.......going to watch the DVD tonight! It was 49.95 plus 5 tax! I also have one on order and they said they were going to start shipping them this week! 8)

I just watched the dvd.... What an excellant production!!!
It is a pleasure to see Squeaky Melchiorre's interviews on the dvd. As a BU student during the 1980's it was also nice to relive the Hersey Hawkins days and great to see and hear Hawk's comments. This is more than a dvd...It is a video history of Bradley Basketball as recounted by some of Bradley's greatest players. Now I have to find time for the book. 8)

just finished watching the DVD........very good and very informative....a must for all Braves fans....the armory stories and pics were really neat! 8)

I absolutely can't wait for my order to show up! Not just for myself, but to watch the DVD with my 10-year old. We listen to the Bradley Band CD all the time and he's been known to tell me "man....Anthony Parker must have been good!". :D
