for those who may have missed the radio show, Coach sounded upbeat - mentioning several players
who have impressed in practices...
Almar, Jaquan Johnson & Corey Thomas all got nice mentions and sounds like they are all going to be getting good minutes.

He did mention that we shouldn’t see Meta and Almar on the court together much-basically said they are both kind of slow.

Yes, he did mention that certain combinations of players have worked better & with better chemistry. But he hinted we’ll still see a lot more of Meta this year.
In almost all the quotes & interviews, there’s little to no mention of Timoty van der Knaap. Anyone think he might redshirt?

one more thing-
nobody does a better job hosting the Voice of the Braves events than Alexanders. Thanks to Steve Shaw & Ron Helms.
Mondays are often slow days for restaurants, some even close every Monday for that reason.
But it was hopping last night. Excellent service & Alexanders always has their special big hamburger/ cheeseburger special for $13 and the crowd was great. Plus they have a great salad bar that can easily be your entire meal.
The only thing I would like to see added is before & after the broadcast plus during the commercial breaks or maybe even during the broadcast- Dave Snell and Brian Wardle ought to take a few questions from the fans in attendance & answer either on or off the air.

We all know the Lariat club has the promotion of buy one get one free if BU scores certain amount of points. Does Alexander's have any plans for promotions at games. What a great incentive that would be for them to drive their business further.

Alexander's has been a sponsor of Bradley basketball in the past, but I don't think they ever had a promotional deal for fans like the Kouri's/Lariat Club has in recent years.

Alexanders has sponsored some of the timeout promotions in the past and they also are listed as one of the restaurants that your Braves Club membership gets you a 10% food discount if you show your Braves Club membership card.
They are also prominently listed as a Bradley corporate sponsor (see far below) & have sponsored the Voice of the Braves for many years.
The long time manager of Alexanders, Steve Shaw is a Bradley grad, a 40 year season ticket holder and if you look up the Bradley
donor recognition listings, he and his wife Patricia appear prominently at the highest donor levels including Scholarship Society some years.
Steve also serves on the Braves Club Board - https://bradleybraves.com/sports/2017/6/13/braves-club-board?id=984
(he's the guy in front with the red Bradley jacket)
Outside of the Harley guys, I doubt any local business has been a better, stronger and more loyal supporter of
Bradley Basketball over the years than Alexanders Steakhouse.

I'm pretty sure Steve is front row in the black jacket next to Tom Finch's daughter. In either case Alexanders has been a huge partner for BU and Steve is just an all around great guy.
