Wake Forest coach Skip Prosser dead

What's so sad is that we're hearing here in Wake Country that Skip's wife is on her way to Kentucky (driving) and has not even been notified yet.

Can't the media even have the common courtesy to wait?! :x

I suppose all their recruits would likely be on campus already, so they would not be as likely to want to transfer elsewhere.
But weren't a couple of their top recruits also looking at Bradley? Jeff Teague and James Johnson had Bradley listed right until they committed to WFU. It will be interesting to see what Wake officials do to replace Prosser.

I think we need to use the '24-hour rule' from Bob and Tom here. Lets not talk about getting recruits from a coach who DIED for at least 24 hours after he actually died.

And on the second point I think there only option would be to make the top assistant interim head coach.

I agree. But I also suspect there are agents of some Top 25 programs that have been working the cellphones and text messages to reach some of those high rated Wake recruits today.

Wake had just gotten committments from THREE top 25'ers in the Class of 2008...an awesome recruiting class that would likely place them #1 overall!
5-Star Al-Farouq Aminu and
5-Star Ty Walker and
5-Star Tony Woods

And I'm proud to say I'm SURE JL wasn't one of those coaches.
