We Need Shooters Bad!

2010- Bradley attendance 10,000 and record revenues

By 2015 - attendance under 5000, record losing, donations less than half the prior years and unprecedented financial losses requiring drastic & emergency measures.

I'd say at least 5000 fans got it and many more who were donors & supporters.
Believe me, nobody wanted to DITCH THE PAST and the people in the past who created this mess any more than I did and nobody wanted to move to the future any more than I do (in fact I am kinda proud that I am part of the group of fans who got-r-done) - but I won't sit still while some, including the media still misrepresent what happened, ignore the facts, rewrite history, shift blame away from those who caused the MESS (including in part, themselves) and who attempt to blame the very people who had us going in the right direction & drawing 10,000 and setting revenue records.

Simply put, BY HIS OWN WORDS - Kirk Wessler did not like Jim Les and was strongly biased against right from the start. He plainly stated that even by YEAR-2 he wanted Jim Les out and started beating the drum, "dropped the critical hammer" and did his best to ally himself with Joanne & engineer anti-JL sentiment & the firing of Jim Les to get the next crew in place.
Then once we had Glasser, Cross, & Geno - Kirk & staff were in nirvana & wrote fanciful, contrived, over-the-top praise-filled (although ridiculous, inaccurate and comedic) columns on a regular basis, attempting to portray JG, Mike & Geno as heroes and all the blame for the destruction they caused shifted to JL, KK, and even Mo. It all backfired when Geno lost at historic pace and it exposed Kirk as a shill and ridiculous with his claims that we fans still need to shut up and give them several MORE years. By the time the demolition crew was ousted- Bradley was at rock bottom. Now they are trying to ignore the last four years and start claiming the reason we're bad is Wardle's recruiting - LOL.

A lot of people seem to, since, just like the PJ Star guys, they want to keep trying in vain to go back and get us to believe that Jim Les or Ken Kavanagh was to blame for the disaster we've had for these last 5 years.

I consider myself a Bradley historian, and will continue to post the facts and correct the attempts of some to revise history. And I will continue to criticize those who did the damage (and those who were enablers), and then asked that we shut this board down because they didn't want to see anyone criticizing them (yes, I was asked by the AD to shut this site down when they saw fans publicly criticizing them a little too much).

Keep it up Da Coach. Looks like around 6000 fans who aren't showing up anymore agree with you. Hope coach Wardle can turn this thing around.

Do you say that to people to elsewhere on the internet who constantly try to bully DC & T over a several year old beef? Do you fight that battle like you do here?

The only thing I see or hear about Les was how things went since 2006 where they put some blame on him. There has been very little blame on Kavanaugh IMO. I think most people would have given Les another year which would have been fine with me too. JG decided not to. Don't you think the decisions JG and MC made would have been done anyway with Les here? Maybe Les would have won championships??¦.maybe he would have been in the middle of the pack like I said before??¦??¦again nobody knows for sure..

The blame pretty much is on JG and MC for how it is right now??¦and quite frankly Geno for never getting a competitive product on the floor??¦??¦.

Most of the stuff is personal---whether people don't like KW,PJS,other posters on message boards etc??¦..

I don't think anyone should forget the past but it doesn't make sense to live there either.

That's it's own thread which I don't post on( other than if it's something non related to T and DC)??¦..I've suggest that here for the PJS instead of bringing PJS or KW and then it goes back for years past and gets off topic??¦

DC, T, and I have known each other for many years since our kids went to the same school??¦??¦??¦and I've pm'd them any time I think maybe I've over stepped my bounds and apologized??¦..

yeah- I heard there's still a handful of disgruntled fans still stewing over the coaching change 5 years ago and grumbling about other fans on this board.
I wonder if we get scolded here are discussing past history, does anyone scold them?

Another game that shows just how bad we need shooters. The shooting percentages were not the worst we've seen, but Bradley struggled all night on offense, and just a few more outside shots would have made the game a bit easier. Bradley actually outrebounded WSU 31-28, but 23 turnovers, and just 6-22 from three is not going to beat many teams.
