We profiled Dimitrije Pavlovic back on April 23 in the "2026 and beyond recruits" thread. There were reports that he wanted to play at a US college, and Bradley kept on him with the recruiting. He is from Belgrade, Serbia (Bradley will save money and not have to buy another Serbian flag for the practice court), where Ahmet Jonovic played club ball, and he played this last season at a New England Prep School- International Sports Academy (ISA-HOOSAC) in Hoosac, New York. The recruiting continues-
2026- Dimitrije Pavlovic- 6'5" point guard at Erie Prep Academy in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is from Belgrade, Serbia.

I know that is what was said, but my guess is that he is not coming to redshirt.I wonder if he will be redshirting? Wardle said he wanted a Freshman PG he could redshirt.
Good question. Maybe we'll get more answers from Coach Wardle, but I think he sees that more depth at the PG position is needed. And now that it looks like Georgi could be limited to just 2 years, the opportunity to land a quality recruit with the size of Pavlovic was worth using one of his remaining scholarships. Bradley will still be inexperienced at point guard next year. And I suspect we'll see Dietrich, Georgi and Dimitrije all play some time at the 2-guard position as well,Is Pavlovic expected to be a contributor in year one, or is the staff looking for him to be a major player in his second year? Is he considered the heir apparent if Georgi moves on after a year or when Georgi moves on after year 2?
Yeah as I understand there are no redshirts anymore with the new rules. With the 5 years to play 5 seasons rule looking like it will come into effect I don’t think redshirting makes any sense any more. As I understand it the only exceptions are for military service and religious missions. Also for womens sports pregnancy. If you play you lose a year and if you sit on the bench and don’t play you lose a year. Correct me if I am wrong.
