Wessler Praises Team, Coach, and Effort

What a compliment-filled article! I would have thought all the Wessler-haters would have been on here thanking him. I guess they only "hate" on him and don't give him props for the "Pro-BU" pieces.

YES...where are all those Wessler haters. When he's negative (according to some) they are all over him. NOW he's positive and they are all gone. You won't see ONE post from them today.

PM me for a list and links of all the haters of Wessler. They are just trying to bring the PJ start down and turn it into a totally negative site...Flamers.

I am most certainly a Wessler-hater, but it was a very positive article, especially when he gave credit to Bradley for UNI's poor shooting and turnovers. Check out a few of the haters' posts here and elsewhere and you won't find that.

I don't think KW has a problem being positive with Bradley, I think he has a problem being positive with the head coach. That has been discussed to death. Even non-BU fans around town ask me things like "what's up with that guy always ripping on Coach Les?" It's happened multiple times this year.

It's like always with KW, win a game it's a great game by the players, lose a game it's a bad game by Coach Les. It was a good, positive article about the players. Hopefully he'll get to write some more of them.

Besides I was being sarcastic. People can get upset about a persons "ability" to do ONE job (writing) but are critical of others that express the same feelings about another job (coaching).

I have seen as much "hate" (their words not mine) for KW as I have for JL.

Explain the double standard to me......

It would be pretty difficult to spin yesterday's game as something negative - of course some try. This whole Wessler thing is really Bradley's fault. If they wanted objective reporting from him they should have kept the swimming program.
 
Good article from Wessler. :) I particularly liked hearing about the Shrek chant. I've heard other schools call him Igor. :lol: That's one fugly boy. :eek: :lol:
 
Well, then wasn't his column condemning this team and saying there was no chance they would bounce back or get better ("The best is not yet to come") a little premature?
 
It was definitely premature. But let's face it..even after that article we haven't played spectacular...and even with this win included we haven't played spectacular. Make a run from here on out and really the only way this is deemed a "successful" season with our level of talent would be to win the MVC tournament...if we don't it's back to the CBI/CIT and I think we have too much talent for that.

"Drive by journalist"....."Bradley hater" , "Les Hater"....PM me for many more names he has been called.

I can give you NAMES also....poster A, poster B, poster C.....they have ALL called him names.


Simple question...WHY is it OK for some to be critical of KW but NOT of JL?

I offer it is OK, needed, expected and ALWAYS OK to be critical of BOTH.


A person can be critical without hating someone.
 
Had the chance to play golf with Kirk a couple times the past two years. We were playing by ourselfs and just hooked up. Nice guy! Enjoyed the time playing with him:!: Talked golf, about his trip all over the SW last year and some BU BB:!: For the record, I NEVER heard him say one bad thing about BU and coach Les:!:

You will see mine Dog. I don't consider myself a "hater" but wait until they lose and he will change his tune. IMO, he is a Mike Nadel wannabe. Praise them when they win and kick them while they're down.
