West Virginis Head Coach Bob Huggins to resign following DUI arrest

West Virginia Head Coach Bob Higgins was arrested for a DUI Friday night. And reportedly, he has informed WVU and his players that he will resign.

Huggins is 69 years old. He has coached at WVU since 2007, and was head coach at Kansas State for one season (2006-2007), and at Cincinnati for 16 seasons prior to that (1989-2005).
His career record is 935–414 (.693), and he has made it to two Final Fours (1992 with Cincinnati and 2010 with WVU).

An NCAA official tells me that West Virginia's players now have a 30-day window to transfer following Bob Huggins' resignation. Two players in Mountaineers' transfer class - Kerr Kriisa & Jesse Edwards - would be eligible immediately w/o a waiver since they're not 2X transfers.

I never liked the guy,don't care how good of a coach he was.He always looked like a slob and gruff.So glad we have a coach that always acts and looks like a coach.
