Thanks, tornado. Thought it was appropriate.

Whatever happened, I want to see more of that Taylor "This rebound is MINE!" Brown!
Taylor is the only player in the MVC to rank in the top 10 players in both scoring and rebounding.
Kenny Lawson
It is rare that Bradley has a player this ready to contribute as a sophomore...
In fact, his current scoring average (13.7) would make him the highest-scoring Bradley sophomore period since Marcellus Sommerville's sophomore year, and the highest-scoring BU soph who played for Bradley as a freshman since Phillip Gilbert's 14.1 second-year mark.
Ive been a little hard on ole JL for his offense, his use of timeouts and the lack of intensity his team has given in alot of games this season.
Congrats for getting your team ready to play the top team in the conference on Saturday or atleast getting them ready to play in the second half. Very good win at home, but none of what happened Saturday will mean a thing if this team goes to Indiana State and does not come back with a win.
Please have this speech or whatever you gave them available for both halfs on Tuesday. I truely would love to see this team play a full 40 minutes of consistant effort on Tuesday.
Even with only 3 conference games remaining there is a chance if this team can just find a way to be consistant and play hard for 40 minutes for something good to come of this season.
Good post. Great win, great treat for the fans on alumni weekend. That was fun.
But, one game does not make a season, and it doesn't make up for the colossal failure that our performance at home has been this year. You can point to the home failures as the singular reason why this season is a failure. 18-7 sure would look bubble-licious right now...
Losing 3 home conference games is a big disappointment. I think using terms like "colossal failure" should be reserved for a team having a season like Evansville.![]()

I guess we see things differently. If this season is a colossal failure, what would it have been if Bradley went 4-14, or 0-18?
Bradley was picked 6th in the league this year, so how can anyone now say their standard should have been perfection?
I only base expectations on what we have been told about this team by its coach and what we have seen and been told in talent.
So do you think the coaches of Bryant University and NJIT say "Hey, our players suck and we have absolutely no shot at anything this year. If we win 1 game, lets consider our season a success."?
An like Sommerville, TB isn't really a true 'sophomore'. He played half a season at a JUCO, sat out, then transferred to BU. Not trying to split hairs, just sayin'.
