I'm a bit of an odd duck...I root for the Cubs and the White Sox. Fans of one team are supposed to despise the other...but I grew up going to the North and South side in Chi-town. If the teams play each other, I root for the Cubs.

As a really little kid, I rooted for the Kansas City Athletics.

I'm old.

I would do another league.

And Ben, are you seriously a cubs and yankees fan? As a CARDS fan, you are the epitome of everything thing I hate in baseball... ;)

Lol nice.

And yes I have been looking into creating a Fantasy Baseball league for those would like to partake.

What do you mean by Braves family tradition?

My dad's family is all from the Milwaukee area, and the Braves played there until 1965 . When I would spend the night at my grandparents house (they moved to Peoria in the late 60's), I would hear stories of Hammerin Hank Aaron and his feats of strength. I grew up believing he was a God. Plus, the Braves used to have almost every game on TBS, and as a kid I used to watch every game.

I eventually started rooting for the Cubs just so I had a team I could discuss with friends. I converted to the Sox in 2004 during the fallout from the Bartman fiasco...I refuse to be associated with a fanbase who scapegoated a true fan when in actuality, every statistical model shows the error by Alex Gonzalez on the next play was a significantly more costly play.

No ESPN doesn't cost anything and the reason I like it better is because they give you access to the free live scoring so you can see how your team is doing without having to wait until the next day.

yeah yahoo had it for NHL NBA and NFL....but not MLB...maybe they just added it. but espn is cooler anyways.
