Where do you like to go before or after a BU game?

it's boogie time

After reading the 'tickets' thread, it got me wondering where other bradleyfans.com posters go before the game. I'm a big fan of Hoops before the game. Reading the articles in the tabletops and all the other Bradley stuff there gets me ready for the game. I like that the majority of the people in there before gametime are wearing red and I like the deals on Wednesday nights.

Any favorites?

I grew up going to the Fieldhouse and back then we would go very early because the parking was so limited.

I still like to go as early as possible grab a cold one and start soaking up the atmosphere and watch the teams warm up.

Generally someplace in EP.....Steak n' Shake, BWW, Chili's, etc.

When BU played at the Fieldhouse, after the game I would stop by a little snack shop off of Main St. (on Perry) called Hunters for a big bag of their delicious popcorn. You could walk up to the outside window for service, and they would have to double-bag the popcorn because it was so buttery! :)

Gorman's sometimes, but usually HOOPS.

Gorman's is good after, unless it's Wednesday and I'm feeling like reliving the college days, then it's Crusen's on Farmington for WingDing and $3 pitchers.

God, I miss college.

Usually Gorman's before.

If its a weekday its immediately back on the road.

If its a weekend gotta hit Jimmy's before closing then head back downtown.

I used to like going to Donnelly's when they had the downtown one. Now I guess BWW. I usually only have enough time to go straight to the game and grab something there.

PS to hijack one portion of this thread. I just moved back to the area about a year or so ago. I kind of lost track of the local establishments (Not Chains) Any general suggestions to try could anyone PM me? Also anyplace that I could take kids before the game would be appreciated too. Thanks

I am a fan of Richard's downtown (not the adult place on University) across from the courthouse. The best Horseshoe in town.

Kids LOVE Old Chicago. Extensive menu and many-many beer selections for Dad!
