After Taylor Brown's 25 point performance on Tuesday, Preseason POY Kyle Weems' 2 exhibition performances (24 pts vs, Truman State and 21 pt. vs. Wm. Jewell), preseason All-American candidate in Doug McDermott, and other high scoring returning players like Colt Ryan and Rayvonte Rice, it looks like the MVC will have several high scoring players this season.

Who will be the leading scorer this season in the MVC?
Taylor Brown?
Kyle Weems?
Doug McDermott?
Colt Ryan?
Rayvonte Rice?
Dwayne Lathan?
Toure Murry?
Jackie Carmichael?
Dyricus Simms-Edwards?
Other?

I will take Kyle Weems

Hard to say since I think the Top 3 candidates (Weems, McD, Ryan) are all team players, and aren't concerned about filling the stat sheet. And though Creighton will not rely as heavily on McD as MSU will with Weems, Little McD has a knack for scoring and will be even better than last year.
If Ryan shoots as much as his freshman year, he will be the leading scorer, but they have a pretty balanced team it appears.

The only reason I'm not going with TB is because DSE will get going and score close to 15 ppg, which means less pts. for Taylor, but TB will end up in the Top 3 - I have little doubt about that, especially since his focus & attitude are much improved.

Scoring?

Scoring?

Scoring? I say it will be just like last year. Whichever team has injuries at their scoring positions will
force one player to fill it up.. No ego like King O this year....

i went with mcdermott, love to see taylor but we don't have the supporting team. I do think taylor will be top 4 though

1. Colt Ryan
2. Kyle Weems
3. Taylor Brown
4. Doug McDermott
5-6. Somebody less heralded such as John Wilkins, Antoine Young or David Kyles
