Creighton fans have just become a little more nervous. If someone other than Wichita State or Creighton win the tournament, is there a chance the NCAA committee might take only 2 teams from the MVC, and that could put Creighton on the bubble?

I was banned from the Shocker board earlier in the week for stating the obvious...........that there was no way in hell that they would win in St. Louis since they never have and this year would be no exception. Made a comment about the long line of cars always heading back down I-44 & leaving empty motel rooms and cheap tickets behind. One of their posters started cursing at me and almost got banned so they ganged up on the moderator and banned me. Really really hurts my feelings that I can't go over there and tell them what a great game they played today. Maybe one of them will come over here and accept my congratulations? If not, oh well I tried.
Likely you are right, but recall that a couple times, MVC teams have been excluded with RPI's lower than 25 where Creighton's is at. It's helped that they handled Evansville easily and will play in the championship game.
Amen! This whole circus of an ncaa tournament has been a hoaxMaybe a little money under the table from IL State to WSU so IL State can get into the NIT? UNI probably lost their NIT bid, so maybe the MVC or IL State threw some money under the table at WSU to get a NIT bid for IL State. Ya just never know.

To be fair, the bubble was a lot stronger in the other years. 2006 was the strongest bubble ever, IMO.
As for the posts about ISU and the NIT, just no. No. That committee is crooked. Straight-up crooked. They'll believe ISU is our strongest candidate, and they will not take a team with that kind of resume. They won't. I would bet copious amounts of money on it.
